These filters work together. Assignment chooses whose book; Needs action and timing narrow that scope. My Work Today applies Mine + Needs action for overdue, due-today, or missing next steps.

• Assignment — Mine is your book, Team is anyone assigned, All is the whole workspace including unassigned.
• Needs action — people who still need a next step: overdue follow-up, open deal with nothing scheduled, or reached out with no follow-up. The arrow narrows to one reason. Parked, New, and customers without an open deal stay out.
• My Work Today — Mine + Needs action, including overdue, due-today, and qualifying missing-next-step work.

Next-action timing filters by when the next task is due. Select one or more chips — people matching any selected timing stay in the list. The row’s colored left stripe is the soonest upcoming due time among the Next action and any open tasks or meetings.

• Overdue — due before today (local calendar day).
• Today — due sometime today.
• This week — due in the next 7 days from the start of today (not overdue or today).
• Later / none — no due date yet, or due more than a week out. This does not imply the record needs no attention.

With no timing chip selected you also see people who have no next task.
